Reiki
Reiki Healing is a Japanese therapeutic technique administered through the laying on of hands. Reiki harnesses the universal life force energy to facilitate natural healing by fortifying the body's inherent energy field. Widely acknowledged and employed, this technique is integrated into medical institutions globally to augment the positive outcomes of conventional interventions, such as chemotherapy.
This method has proven particularly beneficial for individuals contending with various health challenges, including but not limited to cancer patients, those grappling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, addictions, obesity, chronic pain, fatigue, injury, autoimmune disorders, OCD, and cognitive dysfunction.
Reiki Healing serves as a complementary approach to conventional medical practices, contributing to a holistic framework that addresses not only the physical aspects of health but also the emotional and energetic dimensions. Recognized for its potential to enhance overall well-being, Reiki stands as a valuable adjunct in the spectrum of therapeutic modalities available for individuals navigating diverse health concerns.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release treatment, or MFR, is an advanced hands-on therapeutic technique that involves the application of sustained pressure to areas of the body that present with fascia restriction to eliminate pain & muscle limitations. Fascia is a tough connective tissue that spreads throughout the entire body in the form of a 3D web. Fascia vertically covers muscles, bones, nerves, organs, & vessels down to the cellular level from head to toe. In order to release tension in the fascia, heavy pressure may be applied that could cause slight bruising.
One should make their therapist aware if this pressure becomes intolerable. The MFR manual technique is used to relieve chronic pain, migraines, chronic fatigue, pelvic/menstrual pain, or pain that is caused by fibromyalgia, whiplash injuries, coccydynia, plantar fasciitis, & more.
Crystal Myofascial Release
Developed by Hima Dalal, an Integrative Occupational Therapist, Crystal Myofascial Release (C-MFR) is a manual therapy technique that employs crystals to target the release of fascia, alongside kneading and manipulating muscles. This innovative approach seamlessly integrates complementary therapy with traditional physical and occupational therapy methodologies, encompassing a holistic perspective.
C-MFR requires a profound understanding of acupressure and acupuncture points, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of nerve distribution throughout the body.
Particularly beneficial for individuals who have not achieved favorable outcomes with conventional therapeutic interventions, C-MFR excels in diminishing pain, reducing myofascial restrictions, and enhancing range of motion.
The incorporation of crystals in this technique is based on their unique ability to store universal life force energy. This facet contributes to the release of emotional trauma embedded in muscles due to muscle memory. Moreover, crystals play a pivotal role in fostering the healing process. C-MFR stands out as an effective modality for a diverse range of conditions, including sports injuries in athletes, fibromyalgia, migraines, pelvic floor dysfunction, scar release, chronic pain, and sensory processing disorders.
This groundbreaking technique has demonstrated efficacy not only in adult populations but also in addressing birthing injuries and feeding issues in infants. By bridging the realms of science and energy healing, C-MFR offers a comprehensive and transformative approach to holistic well-being.
Craniosacral Therapy
In the practice of complementary integrative medicine, a therapeutic approach is employed wherein the practitioner places hands delicately on the cranium to attune to the craniosacral system. This method involves the application of a gentle touch to alleviate tension within the body's connective tissue network known as the fascia. The therapist's focus extends to key areas such as the spine, cranial sutures, diaphragms, and fascia.
Through this method, the therapist skillfully releases restrictions within nerve passages, optimizing the flow of cerebrospinal fluid along the spinal cord. Craniosacral Therapy (CST) emerges as a powerful facilitator of pain relief, demonstrating efficacy in addressing conditions such as headaches, neck pain, the side effects of cancer, autoimmune disorders, TMJ, mental health disorders, trauma recovery, PTSD, chronic pain, pregnancy complications, pelvic floor dysfunction, infants with torticollis, birthing injuries, tongue tie, lip tie, low tone, and sensory disorders.
By seamlessly integrating the principles of CST, individuals may experience profound relief and support across a diverse spectrum of health challenges. The therapeutic applications extend to enhancing the well-being of those navigating issues related to pregnancy, trauma, and various medical conditions, thereby underscoring the versatility and comprehensive nature of Craniosacral Therapy within the realm of holistic healthcare.
