Success Story
There truly are not enough words to express our gratitude for the incredible care and dedication our daughter has received from Hima Dalal! After undergoing double Tommy John's UCL surgery in February 2024 and May 2024 my daughter, who is has been a competitive gymnast since 2013 and was currently competing L8 at Lake Murray Gymnastics in Irmo, SC, suffered severe nerve damage to her left elbow. Her coaches and I were unsure what her future in gymnastics would look like. She was unable to withstand the pain from swinging bars and vaulting, and resorted to as many no-handed skills as possible for beam and floor. It was an emotional and uncertain season for our family and our gymnastics family.
I reached out to Hima Dalal November 28, 2025 asking for help. She had previously worked with our head coaches daughter on a similar injury, and had also worked on my daughter's knee a few years back. From the very beginning, her Hima approached her recovery with compassion, confidence, and deep expertise. The use of her Myofascial Crystal Release therapy was exactly what I knew was needed. All the other PT's she had been to only repeated the same exercise over and over again.
Nothing was working. The results of the Crystal Therapy have been nothing short of remarkable. My daughter Bella was able to come into this competitive season with a brand new outlook! And for the first time since her injury on Dec 29, 2023 she was able to swing bars again! She competed her first full competition - competing all 4 events - on December 5, 2025. BUT more importantly and with proud momma tears, my most memorable moment was in Texas at the Metroplex Meet on February 15, 2026 my daughter competed her round off back handspring full for the first time since December 29, 2023 when that same skill made her whole world come crashing down around her. Hima Dalal made it possible for Bella to shine again! Through patience, intentional care, and a genuine belief in our daughter’s ability to heal, she helped restore not only strength and mobility, but also confidence.
What stands out most is the way she treats the whole child — not just the injury. She listened, encouraged, and pushed when needed, always balancing professionalism with warmth. She celebrated the small victories and never let setbacks define the journey.
Today, Bella is back and stronger than ever — physically and mentally. We truly believe her recovery and return to the sport she loves would not have been possible without this level of care and innovative therapy.
"We are beyond thankful and would wholeheartedly recommend Hima Dalal to any family walking through injury recovery. She has been a blessing to our family."
